Join us, for our third annual celebration and a nostalgic embrace as we honor the Autumnal season and ignite the witch flame within the heart of Mabon.
From the producer of Rites of Beltane, The Mystic Parlor, Salon L’Orient, Bogville & Shatter Spell... The Witches Ball of the West is a spectacle of Ritual Theatre, intentional art, and ethereally dark dance music evoking otherworldly enchantments within the Historic Star Theater.
Step outside of time and join us for an immersive evening of live music, opulent ritual and dark artistry. The Witches Ball of the West ushers in a grand revival of the Sabbats of old world mystery, while breathing new life into the underground nightclub pulse. Gather with mystics and kin in honor of the ancestral tides as we celebrate the season, conjure the spirits of magic, and devastate the dance floor...

The Star Theater, formerly known as Princess Theatre and several other names, is a historic former silent film theater in Portland, Oregon. The theater currently operates as a live music and performance space and hosts Portlands longest running Goth night - Church of HIVE. In the past, it has operated as a film theater as well as a bustling burlesque hall. With options ranging from VIP balcony seating, lower level table seating, an irresistible dance floor, an Eldritch Market on the firelight patio and 2 open bars, the amusement is unending in this historic multi-level marvel.
It opened in May 1911 as the Princess Theatre at Sixth and Burnside Street, with 300 seats and was one of many "semi-fireproof picture shows" that opened that year in Portland and the first in downtown Portland. It was run by the Sax Amusement Company circa 1923; it became the Star Theater in 1939 but was also known as the Star Burlesk, 5 Star Theater, or New Star Theater at various times In the 1940s, it became a live burlesque theater, and still features the same old-world charm to this date.
